Zoological Garden is established in the year 1876. Kolkata Zoo spreads over 41 acres and it is one of the largest and best in Asia. It is having well-maintained lawns and plants, trees. The zoo houses very large variety of animals, birds and reptiles.
The animals here contain Royal Bengal Toger, white tiger as well as cross-bred lions and tigers. This zoo lake is visited by migratory birds in the winter season. Exclusive reptile house, aquarium with the children's zoo is also worth visiting here.
