The Eden Gardens in Kolkata city is located at the North West corner of the Maidan. It was built by the by the Eden sisters in the year 1835. It is well-equipped with almost required every latest facility and a cricket stadium. It has finest cricket pitches in India.
Eden Gardens is filled with beautiful trees and variety of shrub, winding pathways. Also sparkling fountains and lush greenery adds more attraction to this place. It seems like haven in summer season. Main attraction here is 'Burmese pagoda', an indoor stadium and artificial large lake for boating.
