All over India Baisakhi is celebrated but as per the seasons, as it is a special accent for many religions. This is first day of baisakh as it's a time when harvesting started and on this celebrating moment harvests gather and farmers rejoice greatly for the good returns of his hard work for last year work in farm.
Each farmer joins the celebrations with vigorous enjoyment and fairs are arranged for making this enjoyable day more enjoying. In Punjab 'Bhangra and Giddha', the folk dances are most famous for this festival only. In Punjab, there are many fairs and shrines of pirs arranged this day.
The Jarag fair, the Roshni fair of Jagranyan and the Chhapar fair are the most famous fairs in Punjab. Baisakhi is the start of the New Year and is mainly obeyed in North India. Baisakhi has fixed dates as per state like April 13th in Punjab, Baisakhi as 'Vishu' celebarted in Kerala, and celebrated as 'Puthandu' in Tamil Nadu.
