Bhimgarh Fort
Bhimgarh fort is located in the Jammu and Kashmir state in India. The fort is also known with Reasi fort. The fort is around 64 kms from the Jammu city. The fort lies on one hillock approximately 150 meters. Actually this fort was made of clay. Then after that the Maharaj Rishipal Rana reconstructed this fort with the help of stones. The repairing of the fort was started in 1817 and it was finished in 1841. This repairing task was carried by the King Gulab Singh of Jammu.
Points of Attraction:
There are number attracting points are present in the fort. The main attraction of the fort is that the Entry gate. The gate is made up of Baluka stones and with Rajasthani carvings. There is one loop holes and it is 50 meters long and one meter wide. There are statue of Lord Mahakali and Hanuman. Also there is one another temple, a lake, and number of rooms which are of different sizes. After the King Gulab Singh the fort was controlled by his successors King Ranvir Singh and Pratap Singh.

There is no problem to reach at the Bhimgarh fort as it is just 64 kms away from the Jammu city. There are number of buses and the private vehicles are available to the Bhimgarh fort. Right now this fort is opened to all publics and it stands out as an important landmark in the town.
