Bahu Fort

Bahu fort is located in the Jammu and Kashmir state in India. The exact location o f the fort is at the left bank of the Tawi River and 5 kms away from the Jammu city. The Bahu fort is one of the best forts in the Jammu and Kashmir. The history of this fort is that the fort was built by Bahulochan King around 3000 years ago. This fort is one of the oldest forts from Jammu And Kashmir State.

Points of Attraction:

There are many things which attract local as well as outside peoples. The fort famous for the garden which is within the fort. The name of the garden is Bagh-e-Bahu. The fort has one big and sufficient for stay temple. The local called this temple as Bawey Wali Mata temple. The temple dedicated to the Goddess Kali. Beside that the fort has waterfall, beautiful flowers, and big trees. There are number of big trees and this spot is good sit and relax. From the top of the fort one can enjoy the sunset and the beauty of Tawi River.

Way to reach there:

This Bahu fort is well connected by Jammu city. There are number of buses and Auto rickshaws are available to go there. As this fort is at 5 kms away from the Jammu city you can reach there in nominal fare.
