Namakkal
Namakkal is situated at the foot of a rock 60 meters height and 1 kilometer in circumference. This fort houses two temples and caves which are dedicated to Narasimhaswamy and Rangnathswamy respectively. Hanuman statue of 7 meters in height is the main attraction here.
Tiruchengodu is 38 kilometers from Namakkal and it is famous for its Ardhanareeshwara temple, where deity is a half male and half female form of Lord Shiva and Shakti are worshipped as one.
