Varugad
Varugad is situated in Satara district. It is the hill fort. It is at 2900 ft height. The main point is Bhairavnaath Temple.
Varugad is actually not very famous fort but is very beautiful place. Varugad is comprised of twelve small villages called 'Vadyas'. At the back side of Bhairavanaath Temple, the actual fort is placed. In front of Bharavanath temple, there is very deep valley.
In every year, month of April, there is one big festival called 'Yatra' and many people are oming here to celebrate this 'Yatra'.
How to go there
Roads are not in good condition. Bus service is available from the Phaltan to Girvi village. Road is available from Bijawadi and Mograle via Tondale. About 25 kilometers from Dahiwadi town.
