Rajmachi
Rajmahi is well-known fort near Lonavala and Khandala hill stations in Maharashtra. The fort is 18 to 20 kms from Lonavala. However, the better route to reach the fort is from the Tungarli Lake.
The fort has 2 beautiful top points i.e. Manaranjan & Shrivardhan. These both are also considered as 2 detached forts. In between them, there is a small plate. There is a very beautiful temple dedicated to 'Bhairoba'.
Shrivardhan is called the 'Balle Killa' of Rajmachi. It is at 3000 ft height. It was constructed to watch the Konkan region. Manaranjan is at 2700 ft height.
The Manaranjan includes three doors, strong walls, and number of water reservoirs. From here, you can spot Nagphani, Ulhas river, Matheran, Karnala, Bhimashankar, Mahuli etc.
The main spot on the fort is 'Kondhavi' caves.
