Prachitgad
Prachitgad is located in taluka Sangameshwar. The fort was made by Shivaji Maharaja.
Prachitgad is one of the important tourist forts, as it has uncommon collection of canons and weapon/swords. The fort is encircled by high cliffs from all sides.
Tourist can see Ratnagiri from the fort. Prachitgad fort is divided into seven parts. It has seven lakes and one temple of Goddess Bhavani.
The fort is also known Rangna. It has 5 guns. Its outer wall is in undamaged condition but the inner ones are in damaged condition.
