Palgad
Palgad Fort is situated in Khed taluka, Maharashtra. It covers an area of one & half acres.
The fort is placed on a top of high hill on north – west border of Khed. It is believed to be build by Chhatrapati Shivaji and was aquired by British in 1818. In 1862, the fort was in damaged condition and with 9 worthless guns. Now there is no mark out even.
At the base near Dapodi, Palil village is there.
