Naldurg Fort
The Naldurga Fort is situated in the Osmanabad District in Maharashtra. The fort is about 40 km east away from the Solapur. Naldurga is the only architecture which is constructed below water. Due to its speciality the fort attracts many nature lovers and trekkers also. In the fort there are many bastions are available. There are many buildings which are not in good condition but says something about the history.
The inner portion of the fort is enclosed within ruined walls. The highest point in the fort is Upli Buruj. The dam connects fort and the Ranamandala and is constructed in the Boru river. The dam and the Pani Mahal were built in the peroid of Ibrahim Adil Shah II.
Osmanabad is well known city and is connected to all important cities. So, one can easily reach Osmanabad. And Pune is the nearest airport to this Naldurg Fort. Also Solapur is the nearest railway station that is it just 40 km away from the Naldurg Fort.
