Malshej Ghat
Malshej ghat is the ideal place for hikers, thrill lovers and trekkers. There is a very dense and green valleys and the nature is at its best in the monsoon season, in those days sometimes the exotic pink flamingos can be seen.

- Harishchandragad
Harishchandragad is very interesting trek point and located at an altitude of 1,424 meters. One more point is there and that is the Shivneri Fort, which is the birth place of Chatrapati Shivaji Raje at a height of 108 meters. This point is at a distance of 40 kilometers from Malshej Ghat. Also one can have a visit to many religious Indian towns like Bhimashankar, Lenyadri, Ozar which are at very short distance from the Malshej Ghat.

- By Rail - The nearest railhead from Malshej Ghat is Kalyan and it is on the way of the Central Railway.
- By Road - One can also visit by bus as Mumbai to Malshej Ghat by bus is 154 kilometers journey and it is via Murbad, Pune to Malshej Ghat via Alephanta is journey of 164 kilometers and the distance between Alephanta and Malshej Ghat is 39 kilometers.

Naneghat
Naneghat is also the nice and very well known oldest trekking routes in the Maharashtra. It is known that the rulers of the Satvhaan in the Konkan region of the Ghats built this Naneghat. It is used as the connectivity between Kalyan and Nalasopara with Junnar, which is now day a prosperous town as well as the capital of Satvhaans.
This place is also great for a best overnight hike, and one can love this place to wonder even in day time. The exhausted trekker can have best views of Mahuli, Matheran, Harishchandragad and Kalsubai from the top. It is best place on the weekdays and one can enjoy the loneliness as on those days mobs avoid taking shelter in the caves in the fort on top.
One can reach this beautiful spot by road after taking a bus from Kalyan to Vaishakare village and after that start walking and you will thus reach Naneghat.
Panchgani
Panchgani is lesser known due to Mahabaleshwar a well known hill station situated it's nearby. But this place is as beautiful as Mahabaleshwar. It is at a distance of 19 kilometers away from Mahabaleshwar and 38 meters below it. It has a very cool and beautiful climate which is providing the healthy environment to many citizens suffering, who suffer because of the summer heat and help them to get relaxed.
This town has many boarding schools and thus is one of the major education centre in this region. Panchagani means five hills and it is strange that it is famous for the plateau. It has a very huge plane land which offers fantastic spectacular views of surrounding countryside from there.
