Jivdhan(Virar) Fort

The Jivdhan (Virar) fort was located in Virar in Mumbai. Right now there are only remains of fort present. The present name of it Jivdani hill. The fort present till 17th century. Here is the picture of Maa Jivdani.

Points of attraction:
Right now there are caves and water cisterns which are in the fortification. But these water cisterns are mostly dried in all seasons. Peoples are believed to be the work of Pandavas. This hill is famous for the Maa Jivdani temple. All peoples worshipped this Maa. The main feature of this hill is that the invisible Jivdani Goddess. They believed that Maa was come from the place of one cave and hence there is a temple of Maa Jivdani.

Way to reach there:

Mumbai is well connected by air, buses, and trains and hence there is no problem to reach at Mumbai. Virar is located near to the Mumbai hence you reach at place in within some minutes. There are buses and local trains of local transportation are available to Virar. There is no accommodation and food problem.
