Hargad Fort
This Hargad fort is hill type fort and located in Nasik District. The height of this fort is 4450 feet. Nothing special about the history of this fort as there was no war fought. One can see this fort from Mulher village. The Mulher fort is at font side, and Moragad is at the left side of the Hargad. There is no accommodation facility on the top of the fort. And one important thing about this fort is that there is no water available on the top of the fort.
You have to require at least one and half hour to reach on the top the fort from Mulher village. The range of this fort is Selbari-Dolbari and grade is medium.
Points of Attraction:
There are couples of water cistern on the top of the fort but this water is not potable. And hence it is necessary to carry sufficient storage of water. The top space of the fort is too flat that it is just like plateau.
Also there is temple of Kapaar Bhanavi in the cave and it is located on the plateau of the fort. You have to required one and half hour to see whole Hargad fort.
How to go there:
As Nasik is strongly connected to the all important cities by buses, trains, and by airs there is no problem to reach at Nasik. From Nasik go to Mulher village. Then the distance between fort and Mulher is not far away hence you reach on the top the fort in just one hour.
