Chanwad Fort

The Chanwad fort is located in the Nasik District. The other name of this fort is Chandor fort. This fort lies in the Sahyadris. The history of this fort is that first the fort was captured by Mughals that is in 1635. After that this fort was controlled by Marathas. In the period of Mughal emperor Aurangazeb, this fort again recaptured. And finally this went into the control of British in 1818. If you want to go on the top of the fort then it is required for you to climb 15 meters rock. Here is the one beautiful picture of chanwad fort.

Bharatgad Fort

The Bharatgad fort is in the Masure village. The fort was built by Sawantwadikar Fond Sawant in 1680.The outer wall of the fort is in dialogite condition. The main feature of this fort is that this fort has 200 feet deep well which has a carved shaped door at the bottom side. Some peoples says if you follow this way then this goes towards Sindhudurg fort. Also there are temples of Hindu and Muslim which is the symbol of Hindu and Mulsim Unity.
