Bahadurgad
Pedgaon is situated in Shrirampur taluka, Ahmedgagar district. Actually Pedgaon I a very small village rested on a bank of Bhima River.
Pedgaon village includes a ort known as the Pedgaon Fort or Bahadurgad Fort. But the fort is in totally damaged condition now. It has one structure called Mastani Mahal.
It has five temples. Two of them are – Baleshwar temple and Lakshmi-Naryana temple. The Lakshmi-Narayana temple is very good example of design. It consists carved pillars and pictures of many animals on walls. The Baleshwar temple is devoted to the Lord Shiva. But it is also in damaged condition.
It has eight pillars with the good carving.
How to go there
- It is located on the Shrigonda-Rashin way.
- One more road is Pune - Daund - Sidhatek - Raashin Phata - Pedgaon Phata - Pedgaon Fort.
