Anjaneri Fort
Anjaneri is one of the important forts in the range of Tryambakeshwar near Nasik. The lord Hanuman was born on this fort. The history about this fort is that the lord Hanuman was the son of Anjani and lord Pavan and hence the name of fort is Anjaneri. There is Ajnaneri Phata which is 20 km from Nasik. Point of Attractions:
There is one temple of 'Anjani Mata' which quite big and hence it is the safe place to stay on the fort. Also there is cave called 'Seeta Cave' which has two rooms with capacity of ten to twelve persons. The perimeter of this fort is very big. Another temple of 'Anjani Mata' which takes 20 minutes to reach.
How to reach:
From Nasik to Anjaneri Phata the distance is about 20 km. And the Anjaneri village is on 10 to 15 minutes away from this Anjaneri Phata. The way to fort is go through this Anjaneri village and takes one and half hours to reach on to the fort. Next there are some steps which go to the plateau of Anjaneri.
Alang Fort
Alang fort is lies in Bhandardara in Nasik district. The Udadhawane is village which is at the base of this fort. The history about this fort is not fixed. But first the fort was in captivity of Mughals, then this fort won by Maratha. Aurangajeb won it from Maratha. That much history was known about this fort. Udadhawane is the village from there you required five to six hours to climb towards fort.
Point of Attraction:
On the top of fort you can able to see Avandha, Bitinga, Jeevdhan, Naneghat, Sidhagad, Bhandardara dam, Ghatghar power station. Also there is one cave and the cave has two sections with source of non-potable water.

Pune to Sangamner
Sangamnagar to Rajur
Rajur to Ambevadi
Suitable time to Visit: Winter (October - March)
