Madikeri is one of the beutiful and attractive regions for tourism in India. Coorg or Kodagu is a natural tourist spots for history lovers. Hills and valleys are just picturesque found in the Western Ghats. Kodagu has Madikeri, Virajpet and Somewarpet three main regions.

Madikeri is one of the district headquarters of Kodagu and it has green mountainous region in the southwest of Kamataka. It is also known as 'Scotland of India'. Lush forests, misty hills and endless acres of tea as well as coffee plantation make Kodagu the home of greenery.
