Roing is the most famous for the ruins of Bismaknagar Palace from the 12th century and three sides bound by the ramparts and mountain wall.

This fortress was the capital of King Bhismaka at old times. King Bhismaka's daughter was a very devotional consort of Lord Krishna.

From this place the Tamreshwari temple is at a distance of 10 kilometers and located on the south of Bismaknagar.
