Bomdila is just 290 kilometers from Itanagar and it is halfway between Tawang & Tezpur. this is a small but very attractive town and it has lots of marvelous snow-capped mountain views from the Himalayan ranges.
Buddhist Gompas and vast apple orchards are some of the unique things to watch in Bomdila. Bomdila has the craft centre also the orchards, apple and Buddhist gompas that is the monasteries and a very unusual Yak Research Centre.
One can at least visit bazaar & the crafts centre for once after meeting this town. Tezpur airport and railway station both are near to the Bomdila.
