There are a number of tourist places in Bhadrachalam. Bhadrachalam is one of the most famous place all over India for the Sree Seetaramachandra Swamy temple. It is located on the left side of the Godavari river and very holy pilgrimage of Hindus. It is the greatest holy shrines in South India and has a great historical background.
On Sreeramanavami that is the Lord Rama and his consort Sitadevi's marriage anniversary celebrations, it is expected that nearly three lakh people gather together to enjoy the the holy 'Kalyana Mahotsavam' - marriage ceremony of God Rama and Godess Sitadevi.
The historic tales narrate that Lord Rama, long after he had shed his mortal coils apparent himself to save his devotee Bhadra 'Maharshi whom' he assured 'moksh' after intensive prayer and thats why this village is known as 'Bhadradri' or 'Bhadrachalam'.
How to reach Draksharamam:
- By Air - The nearest airport is, Vijayawada at a distance of 201 kilometrs.
- By Rail - The nearest railhead is Kothagudem at a distance of 40 kilometers.
- By Bus - It is well connected by state buses from Kothagudem easily.

- Ushnagundam -
Ushnagundam is 6 kilometres away from Bhadrachaiam. It is supposed that Lakshmana brought hot water to bath from here for Sita.
- Motigadda -
It is 3.2 kilometre away from here and on Venkatapuram road lies Motigadda. Legends says that Sita Devi was abuducted by Ravana from here. Parnasala where Sita dried her sarees as well as the hut in which she lived with her husband Lord Ram and Lakshaman could be visited from this place.
