Aberdeen War Memorial
Aberdeen War Memorial is a 3 meter High structure and it is built to commemorate the Battle of Aberdeen, which was fought in the year 1859 in-between the Andamanese aborigines and the British. Andamans water sports complex has both the facilities available for safe and adventure water sports like Rowing, Water Cycles, Scooters, Skis and Paddle and Sail Boats. It is open from 12.30 am to 5.00 pm on every week day except Sunday. On holidays it is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Anthropological Museum
Anthropological Museum is nice place to visit as it depicts the Paleolithic islands life. There is a small museum on MA Road, which displays photographs, tools and clothing of the indigenous people of these islands. There are some captions which are not so informative and later all this will surely change with the new construction of a museum close to the current side.
There is also a nice and well-stocked library and it is for only researchers. This library is open everyday except Sunday and on the holidays time is from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
Cellular Jail
Cellular Jail is located on the north side of Aberdeen Jetty and it was built in-between year 1886 to 1906. It was built originally by the British to house dangerous criminals and now it is preserved as shrine to India's freedom fighters.
It was also used subsequently to place Indian freedom fighters till the independence day in the year 1947 and it holds totally 698 solitary prisoners in the small narrow cells. It is a three storied prison and dedicated to India as the national memorial of a nation.
It is the Cellular Jail and it is one of the major tourist attraction in Port Blair. This place is the record of a significant moment in the island's history. It also has a Sound and Light show based on the prison life and it is followed by a film on the tribal's of the Andamans, which is in both languages English as well as Hindi. There is also a site Museum, an Art Gallery where one could get the prison impression of the conditions within in the 1900s and the implements used in torture.
There are 3 original seven wings which extended from the central guard tower survive and this jail was actually renovated in the year 1998. It is allowed to be there for an hour and timings is from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00 to 5.00 pm.

Chatham Saw Mill
Chatham Saw Mill is the most oldest and biggest in the Asia. It is open for visitor's everyday of a week except Sunday and holidays. Timing is from 6.30 to 10.30 am and 11 am to 3 pm and this also requires a special permission. It is the oldest in Asia and employing 1000 workers.
Corbyn's Cove Beach
Corbyn's Cove Beach is at a distance of 4 kilometer on the east side of the airport and at a distance of 7 kilometer on the south side of this town. It is the nearest beach for Port Blair visitors. It is a long and though pleasant place. It is also an area of picturesque sea beaches and it is ideal place for swimming lovers.
