Jasrota Wildlife Sanctuary is located 63 kms. from Jammu, J & k with an coverage area of 10 sq-kms. This is located right on the banks of River Ujh, northwards of village Jasrota. The sanctuary houses an appreciable variety of bird and animal life.

Flora :
Dominated by Bamboo plantations. Other broad leaved species are Acacia Catechu A.Arabica, Dalbergia Sissoo, Lannea Grandis etc. The main shrubs are Lantana camara, Carisa spinarum, Dodonea Visacosa.
Fauna :
The most prolific mammals found there are cheetal, Barking deer, wild boar, rhesus monkey.
