Samode Bagh is a garden paradise situated 4 km from Samode Palace, nestled on 20 acres of beautiful grounds combines warmth and luxury, an atmosphere that is quiet, relaxed & elegant. It is a romantic hideaway where you can be as active or contemplative as you wish. Samode Bagh offers a unique experience of a tented camp where the dunes colored tents are luxuriously furnished with every comfort. The garden is about three blocks long and is enclosed by a 15-foot high stonewall.

Accommodation

The 44 dune colored tents are luxuriously furnished with every comfort. They are tents with a difference- spacious, with carpeted floors, electric lights and heating, each with their own en suite marble bathrooms with showers, hot and cold water, an attached dressing room and a front private porch. The inner fabric used is specially designed and printed with floral motifs in warm earthy colors. The ceiling is of muslin with a pattern printed in gold creating an ambience of gracious living.

Dining

Al fresco dining at the Bagh is a sensuous repast; Receptions up to 350 people can be organized. Evenings are memorable occasions spent in joyous celebrations with traditional rajasthani food, music, song and dance.

There is an upstairs terrace overlooking the resort and the surrounding hills, ideal for meeting breaks, a cocktails function or even a small gathering.

The poolside ensures seclusion and offers the perfect spot for 'dinner a deux'

Special lunches and dinners can be arranged with a live bar-be-que.

Conference and Banquet Facilities

Workshops and meetings can be held here in a completely unique setting open to sky under ancient old tamarind trees for large and small groups. All audiovisual equipments required can be arranged - offering delegate a tranquil and exclusive venue.

For the more adventurous, ride the horses up the hillock in to the sand dunes and for those with energy to burn climb the 376 steps up a mountain behind the Palace to the fort that once protected Samode. The climb is steep but the views across the valley make it worth the effort

Visit the 400-year-old exquisite Samode Palace, where you can and must spend the day viewing the spectacular extravagantly floral hand painted Durbar hall and the overlooking gallery, which forms the breathtaking 'Sheesh Mahal' or the hall of mirrors

Celebrations

Anniversaries, birthdays, weddings & other parties can be celebrated in style. A traditional Hindu wedding, which is known for romance and tradition can also be organised with the bride and groom, dressed in full regalia accompanied by classic Indian music. The wedding vows may take place at Hotels grounds and officiated by a pundit (priest).
