Ghirishneshwar temple is the nice place at Ellora and one of the holy spot in Verul. All the worshippers of God Shiva come to visit this place which stands at a very short distance on the west of Kailash temple. This temple is of specific importance as it is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga.
This temple is dated from the 18th century since Maratha period. Also the Holkar Temple nearby with its pyramid tower of six floors and the mandapa, the sanctuary and the additional structures found inside like the Ganesha Shrine on the north and Nandi shrine on the west are worth visiting.
